In 2019, Shelby Treichler designed a few stickers in an attempt to connect to her new hobby of rock climbing and Cactus to Pine was born. In 2020, she transitioned into the business full time and a year later she sold her house in Atlanta and took herself, her pup and her business on the road. For years she has traveled the country, attending climbing festivals and scooping up retired rope from gyms, guide companies and climbers. Her RopeWare has saved thousands and thousands of meters of rope from ending up in the landfill and she is excited to start exploring more upcycled artforms. Currently she is parked in Asheville NC and excited to call the southeast home again
